Kids love dress up games, right? Absolutely! We are studying clothes theme these days and I think we should have an interactive online dress up game suitable both for boys and girls. The game is on Google Slides, so you can use it wherever you want. 🙂 Face to face or virtual lessons, doesn’t matter.
While I was searching for clothes theme cliparts, I saw a lovely dress up worksheet on https://www.funwithmama.com/. I downloaded the worksheet and used those images. I was lucky to see this pack. It was all in one dream package for my game. 😀
I’m in love with this dress up game! <3 Again, I spent at least 10 hours on that but I had so much fun (neeeerd)! 😀 As I said before, all these designing stuff takes me back to my teenager years when we used to play SimCity for hours with my sister.
Also, these online materials can be used for long years. Plus, they are editable; so whenever I want to make a change, it is gonna less stressful than finding a new one.
Here is how the game looks like. You can click and give it a try. (It doesn’t work on mobile devices though, only computers).
As you may see on the slides, we ask kids to click on the “Listening” buttons to hear the instructions. Each track asks kids to click on a specific clothing item. When they click on the correct item, they see the Girl or Boy wearing a different combine for each clothing. If they click on the wrong one, a “Go Back” sign appears. When it happens, they need to click on the sign which will take them to the previous slide.

- Click on the red hat.
- Click on the purple shoes.
- Click on the orange and yellow t-shirt.
- Click on the green hat.

- Click on the dark blue trousers.
- Click on the yellow glasses.
I don’t like to record my own voice as it definitely doesn’t sound professional. 😀 But I had to do it. At least it is not gonna be strange for my kiddos to hear my voice. I’m not sure about yours. 🙂
